Just tweet using #HotCraftSpirits and tagging the spirit you want to nominate. If they’re not on Twitter simply put the name of the brand in the tweet. We’ll be tracking these and will tally up the votes. Instagram users can also vote using #HotCraftSpirits & tagging the distiller’s Instagram account.
You can vote for as many different drinks as you want but can only vote once for any one brand or spirit. We reserve the right to remove multiple entries. Any use of spambots is forbidden. Entries made via these automated systems will be blocked and removed.
It’s a crap word but basically we mean any small, local, independently-owned producers of gin, vodka, rum, whisky, liqueur or any other spirit. We don’t mean to offend but votes for Gordon, Smirnoff, Hendricks, Absolut, etc won’t be counted. #HotCraftSpirits is for the small, independent producers.
We’re not saying this is the final word on what is, and what isn’t craft. However, we feel it’s suitable for the purposes we’ve set: to celebrate the plethora of new producers that have entered the market in last 10 years.
